Hi, I’m Hrishitonoy and I am an artist and researcher working amphibiously. Obsessed with animals from a very young age I experimented with a range of mediums and materials to translate my love for animals in the form of storytelling.
Now, I identify myself with more diversity and yet a composite whole which influences my practice and life greatly, culminating my experiences perhaps with a fresh perspective. My ecological concerns and interest in art have fused together through which I intend on an attempt to create a visual language; an ambitious attempt to enable and engage both the human and non-human animal. We rarely, if ever, help to save the things that matter most if we don’t first engage with them and learn to respect them as an integral part of our continued existence.
I believe all of us are intertwined
